What I don’t like about the book?

I thoroughly enjoyed the book, although the mention of Japanese dishes in the stories might be slightly confusing for readers, including myself, who are not familiar with authentic regional dishes and ingredients. Aside from that, it’s a light-hearted and enjoyable read that even children can appreciate.

Hisashi Kashiwai was born in 1952 and was raised in Kyoto. He graduated from Osaka Dental University. After graduating, he returned to Kyoto and worked as a dentist. He has written extensively about his native city and has collaborated in TV programs and magazines.
